HICKEY, SR., Capt. Michael C. Today we honor our father and loving husband, CAPT. MICHAEL C. HICKEY, SR., who passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007. Survived by his loving and caring wife Alice E. Hickey (nee Markham), his children, Col. Michael C. Hickey, Jr. USMCR, Ret., Esq. and his wife Marcia, Mary L. Glowacki, Film Librarian, How. Co. Gen. Hosp. and husband Steve, Kathleen P. Kujawa, R.N., Ret. and husband Bill, Patricia L. Ballinger, Vet. Tech - Town & Country Animal Hospital and husband Wayne. Also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Born in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada, November 5, 1921. Predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children, Mary Lou Hickey (nee Bartholomee). Served in the Merchant Marines during World War II, retired Captain from Esso/Exxon Standard Oil Company, 35 years. An avid golfer, commercial crabber, fisherman and traveler. Known as the "Bald Eagle" on his CB - now the "Bald Eagle" flys home. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M.
